About Me

Hey there, I’m Daisy!

If you’re craving more freedom, more flexibility, and a life that actually works around your family, you’re in the right place.

I’m an ADHD serial mumpreneur who absolutely loves making money from home. I’m figuring out this beautiful mess of life in England with my daughter (who I adore entirely) and our dog Wolfie, who’s basically our furry child.

I build businesses from my kitchen table—sometimes literally while making dinner—and I’m all about making money in ways that don’t involve burnout, endless hustle, or sacrificing the moments that matter most.

This blog is where I share the real journey. Not the polished highlight reel—the honest, practical, sometimes messy reality of building a life on your own terms.

How My Entrepreneurial Journey Really Started

My relationship with business and money started young, and honestly? It was a disaster at first.

When I was 15, I borrowed money from my dad and practically begged him to let me jump into direct sales, selling health and wellness products for a company called Forever Living. I thought selling would be easy! So I bought a bunch of products, started selling to close relatives, attended workshops, learned sales techniques, and before long, I was making a few hundred to a few thousand ringgit a month (that’s Malaysian currency—think a couple hundred quid at most).

I felt like an absolute business genius.

But here’s what they don’t tell you when you’re 15 and feeling invincible: cashflow management is CRUCIAL. I spent way too much on stock, completely overestimated my ability to sell it all before expiry dates, and yep—I ended up using most of those products myself and giving them away as they got close to expiring.

At the time, it felt like a complete failure.

Looking back? It was one of the best business lessons I’ve ever had. That experience taught me something I still stand by today: making money is only half the story—managing it properly is what actually creates freedom.

From Malaysia to England (And Learning Independence Early)

I grew up in Malaysia in a family that was always hustling just to make ends meet. My childhood taught me one thing that’s stuck with me forever: time with the people you love is EVERYTHING. My parents worked so incredibly hard that I often wished we could just have more moments together.

After finishing school, I moved to England and worked wherever I could—childcare, waitressing, long shifts, weekends, and school holidays. It wasn’t glamorous, but it taught me independence, resilience, and how to keep going even when life feels uncertain.

Those lessons? They still shape how I live and work today.

Motherhood: My Personal Everest

Getting to be a mum was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

It took nine rounds of IVF, four heartbreaking miscarriages, and fertility treatments in three different countries before my daughter finally arrived.

That journey taught me patience, resilience, and focus on a level I didn’t know was possible. When everyone around me was doubting, when people kept telling me to give up, I held onto one simple belief:

Winners never quit, and quitters never win.

That mindset carried me through years of uncertainty and became the foundation for how I approach challenges in every part of my life—business, parenting, all of it.

Now I’m a proud mum of my beautiful daughter, and honestly? After everything it took to get here, every tantrum, every messy room, every 3 AM wake-up call feels like a gift. (Well, most days anyway—let’s keep it real!)

When Life Forced a Reset

After 13 years of marriage, my relationship ended during COVID. Overnight, I had to completely rebuild my life—emotionally, financially, and practically—as a single mum.

It was overwhelming. Scary. Exhausting.

But honestly? Sometimes the things that feel like they’re breaking you are actually clearing space for something so much better.

That season forced me to rethink everything: how I worked, how I earned, and what kind of life I wanted to build—not just for me, but for my daughter.

Why I Walked Away From the “Safe” Path

At one point, I was running a successful real estate business pulling in six figures. On paper, everything looked great.

But something just wasn’t clicking for me.

Even though the business was doing well, I felt constantly stretched. My days were full, my mind was always busy, and I was earning good money—yet I felt like I was missing the very thing I was working so hard for: time. Time with my daughter. Time to breathe. Time to actually enjoy the life I was building.

So I made a decision that didn’t make sense to most people.

I put that business on the back burner so I could stay home with my girl and figure out how to make money online instead.

Was it terrifying? Absolutely.

Was it the best decision I’ve ever made? Also, absolutely yes.

Why Smart Tools (And AI) Changed Everything

Here’s the thing—I realised I didn’t need to work harder. I needed to work smarter.

AI and modern tools now support me in ways that genuinely change my daily life:

  • Reducing admin and mental load
  • Running multiple income streams efficiently
  • Freeing up time and energy for my daughter
  • Helping me focus on creativity, strategy, and income-producing work

AI isn’t here to replace us. It’s here to support us.

Used properly, it’s like having a super-efficient sidekick working quietly in the background—handling the repetitive stuff so you can focus on what actually matters.
